The 2009 Townsville Airport North Queensland Tourism Awards shines a light on the new wave of Tourism Industry Professionals, whilst recognising the Tourism achievers of today.
“Learning to Fly” evokes the challenges and opportunities of the regions Tourism Industry, linking the tourism education and training opportunities ongoing at JCU and TAFE.
The venue for the awards this year is James Cook University with the presentation of the awards held in the George Kneipp Auditorium and following guests will be invited to experience a gallery of arts and entertainment presented in the School of Creative Arts precinct. These will include an Entertainment Gallery, Gallery Square, Landscape Dance Gallery, Chamber Gallery and Theatre Gallery.
With a record number of nominations for 25 award categories, the 2009 Townsville Airport North Queensland awards will showcase the amazing talents and the success of our region. Join us for a very existing and memorable evening.
